Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was born and lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest of seven children. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. In the early 1990s, Adams started dancing and performing professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film that explored beauty contests. The actress moved into Los Angeles after making her debut as the snarky but good-natured contestant. Her husband Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. Her children included, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began in late 1940s after she was hired by MGM. Her name was noticed by Norma shearer. Through the 1960s, Leigh starred in a variety of films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
