Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia dominated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
